so for the last year, every time a teacher asked me what i wanted to be when i grow up, i said i wanted to be a groupie. 

and they’d all have a poker face on.

and not until recently did i find out that i was mistaking it for the word ‘roadie’.

not that i wouldn’t mind having a career involving being obsessed with musicians.
